Responsibilities: • To ensure safety practices during the construction of Shangri-la hotel (30+ floors) in campus of fully functioning ‘Palladium mall’ by: o Issuing Work permits for all critical jobs o Providing safety training (working at height, hot work etc) to all levels of staff o Maintenance / inspection of fire fighting systems, lifting equipment, tools and tackles etc. • Asses job hazard analysis prepared by the safety representatives of contractor • Draft and implement construction safety manual and Environment Health & Safety (EHS) policy. • Conduct safety and fire audits for the ongoing construction site and existing operational mall. • Promoted safety at construction site and corporate office with support of human resource team Challenges: Construction of 30-storey building in the middle of one of the famous and luxurious mall in the city. Achievement: +500 hrs of training to workers and middle management – resulted in reduction in incidents and first aid cases. Also installed a double height canopy (temporary) for the safety of the mall visitors

Responsibilities: • To oversee the health and safety procedures and process implemented by Project Management consultant (M/s Cushman and Wakefield) appointed by GE during the construction of Phase 4 “Galileo” building at Bangalore • Conduct site safety inspections and report daily findings to Sr. EHS Manager from GE • Provide support to GE EHS team in implementing GE’s stringent 21 point EHS norms during construction – like job hazard analysis, lockout tag out, permit to work etc. • Conduct weekly safety meetings with workers, safety officers/supervisors. • Involved in GE safety awareness campaigns like safety week, National safety day etc. Achievement: 0.8 million “Zero Accident” Safe man-hours during the construction of 4th phase building “Galileo” in General Electric (GE) Global Research.

Responsibilities: • To ensure the quality and safety during the manufacturing, refilling and maintenance of fire extinguishers. • To ensure maintenance and renewal of legal compliances /accreditations • Carryout inspections and audit of fire fighting equipment like fire extinguishers, sprinkler system, CO2 suppression system etc. mainly on offshore (like oil rigs and platforms) • Involved in CO2 flooding system for an Electricity supplying company • Designated as Management Representative (MR) for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems Achievement: Inspection of live CO2 flooding system on oil platform and testing of sprinkler system; working with government officials for accreditation and certifications
