About me

I don't consider any job opportunities in Russia. My name is Vitaly, and I am a person who is passionate about collecting data, analysing it, and then making weighed decisions. Based on insights from the data, I love to simplify complex processes and procedures as well as build clear and effective solutions. For the last 8 years, I have been working in the Software Development industry in various roles including Product Owner, Team Lead, Developer, and Malware Analyst. During this period I gained expertise in the areas of data analysis, anti-malware research and internet security solutions benchmarking. More importantly, though, I experienced the joy of work in a collaborative environment. Now, I am aware of the importance to lead the team by my own example and inspire them to do a better job in order to deliver incredible outcomes and achieve long-term success. Solving complex problems and dealing with challenges is a part of my personality. During my career, not only did I successfully lead various short-term research projects, but also contributed to the development of a high-loaded infrastructure system that classifies and detects malware. While dealing with a particular task I always try to look at the overall picture and solve more general problems. Getting new knowledge has always been an important part of my life. After graduating from university with a Master's Degree in Computer Science, I proceeded with visiting numerous meetups, conferences as well as going through various training programs. Machine learning and Data Analysis specialisation on Coursera.org is the most recent example. I am keen on extreme sports such as snowboarding, windsurfing, and surfing. I also fond of reading books and some that influenced me the most are “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey and “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson.
