Assistant to the Head of Office / Team Assistant for Caucasus, Central Asia & Ukraine
Provide dedicated support to the Head of Office in fulfilling his work plans. Draft various written reports, documents and communications, e.g. background papers, presentations, correspondence, etc., as well as Administrative notes, agendas and other relevant documents for workshops and conferences. As a Team Assistant under Communication Unit, provide A-Z logistical support for organizing international, regional and country conferences and workshops. Organised World Humanitarian Day in Almaty city, Kazakhstan with participation of government authorities (mayor of the city, Department of Emergency Situations, MFA and etc.), UN agencies, local and international NGOs, academy and mass media. Provided administrative support to the World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) regional consultations in Tajikistan. Provided support to the WHS Secretariat with translations and proofreading of public information materials (English-Russian-English) for WHS in Istanbul. Become familiar with humanitarian related topics (Transformative agenda, IACP, BCP, Civil military Coordination, needs assessments, inter-cluster coordination, etc.).
