SEPO has been and still is one of the biggest factories in Saratov (12.000 employees). Production of avionics, electronics and household appliencies (refrigerators). Re-directing and reorganizing cash flows from export operations, taking over (from Moscow) and reorganizing international markets for the company's products. Organization of new logistic schemes. Founding of a transportation (trucking) company and turning it into a joint venture with the Dutch company Henk v.d. Wal. Running this new company for 6 months. Establishing and maintaining relationships with foreign partners like Robert Bosch, Bayer, GM, Daewoo, Samsung, DeLonghi etc. Coordinating and running dealers' network in Europe. Participation in exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Representation of the company in all occasions of foreign relations. Participation in conversion process. Interacting with US Department of State, Trade Department and Chamber of Commerce. Participation in Conversion conferences held in Washington, D.C. together with general managers of Saratov plants.

Teaching English and German to students of Law. Organized a trip of a students group to former GDR.

Keeping law and order in military units in and around Magdeburg, East Germany. Acting as a liason officer with East German authorities and interpretor.
