Offshore Wells \ Crude Oil Process Operator
• Conducting checks/surveys within the Oil Process area. Identifying, rectifying and reporting possible anomalies; • Identify potential hazards or occurrences that may be damaging to personnel, environment, plant or production. Take immediate corrective action where possible and report occurrences to the offshore shift supervisor; • Review Operability and Maintainability of the facilities. Proposing and agreeing with Supervisor all maintenance works, repair or preventative measures as deemed necessary. • Check worksites to ensure that they are safe prior to authorising any work to commence and during execution; • Checking level/inventory of chemicals, consumables, etc and ensuring restoration to normal levels; • Maintain chemical injection at required target rates; • Performing the necessary activities during start-up, shutdown and emergency according to the instructions of the Offshore CCR Panel Supervisor and Offshore Oil Supervisor; • Execute sampling of process fluids for plant performance monitoring is carried out safely and accurately; • Taking appropriate action in case of alarm and/or emergency, following the procedures and site instructions; • Ensure well production test program is completed and record parameters (P, T, Flow) as per SPV instructions; • Assure operational integrity, process safety is maintained following field feedback and promote continuous improvement to achieve a high level of Operational Excellence; • Maintain daily log of significant events in area of responsibility and give accurate verbal handovers to on-coming shift. Maintain records in Operations Desk Top (ODT) system; • Review and provide input to updates of operating procedures, instructions and job cards; • Monitor work in my area of responsibility, participate in tool box talks and stop or suspend work if deemed necessary; • Maintain housekeeping in my area of responsibility is to the required standard; • Give support to work preparation, planning and scheduling activities, including Campaign Maintenance; • Participated in Integrated Commissioning and Acceptance Team (ICAT) activities, as well as in first Start-Up, normal and emergency Shut – Down and normal operation of the following systems: 1) Chemical Storage and Injection; 2) Diesel Storage, Cleaning and Supply; 3) Instrument Air System; 4) Service Water Treatment; 5) Fresh Water Treatment; 6) Waste Water Treatment; 7) Nitrogen Generation Package; 8) HVAC plant; 9) Fire and Gas Detection; 10) Fire Fighting; 11) Emergency Breathing. • Acted as a back-up Control Room Operator whenever it is required; • Familiar with Gas & Oil Plants such as Oil Separation\Transport, Gas Dehydration, Flash Gas Compression and Glycol Regeneration etc; • Control of operations with chemicals, including the account, acceptance, application, storage, transportation, using proper PPE and collective protective equipment during operation with chemicals
